CookTechnology ("we," "us") is operated by Cook Technology Corp., a Florida corporation headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. This notice explains what we collect from visitors and clients, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
- Contact data you give us — name, company, email, phone — when you submit the scope form or email us.
- Engagement context — the service type, site count, and notes you provide so we can route to the right team.
- Basic analytics — aggregated page views and referrers via a privacy-preserving analytics tool (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).
- Operational records for active client engagements — site addresses, site contacts, photos from job closeout, and work orders.
What we don't collect
- No third-party advertising pixels.
- No cross-site tracking cookies.
- No sale or brokering of personal data — ever.
How we use it
- To reply to you, route your request, and staff the work.
- To invoice, dispatch, and close out jobs under active contracts.
- To improve the site in aggregate — which pages help, which don't.
How long we keep it
Inbound inquiries that don't become engagements are purged within 12 months. Operational records are retained as long as the client relationship is active, plus the retention period required for tax, insurance, and labor law (typically 7 years).
Your choices
Email website@cooktech.us to request access, correction, or deletion of any contact data you've given us. We'll respond within 30 days.
Security
Form submissions are transmitted over TLS. Operational records are stored in access-controlled systems behind SSO. Job-site photos are retained for closeout verification only; they're not shared outside the client and their insurer/auditor unless the client directs otherwise in writing.
Children
This is a B2B service. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
